YAKUGAI Ombudsperson "Medwatcher Japan" is the private medical supply supervisory system.
When the PMDA(Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency)was established in December 2002 based on the PMDA Act, we conducted lobbying activities to oppose the Act's enactment. We achieved both the regulation restricting employment in the PMDA from pharmaceutical industries, and the establishment of a council involving pharmaceutical victims.
