Advertisement of Recruiting Examinees
In 2001, we requested that the MHLW and the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association suspend or correct the advertisement of recruiting examinees.
This was because the advertisement falls under the "advertisement on medicines before approval," which is prohibited under article 68 of the Act on Pharmaceutical Affairs, and the current practice constitutes a loophole of the said provision.
