YAKUGAI Ombudsperson "Medwatcher Japan" is the private medical supply supervisory system.
The approval of four widely-sold anti-dementia medicines, was revoked after clinical tests for re-evaluation showed no effectiveness.
Since this result suggested a problem in clinical testing at the approval stage, we requested that all similar medicines be re-evaluated.
After the re-evaluations, most of these medicines disappeared from the market.
