Seirogan (wood creosote)
We requested that information be disclosed on the reported side effects of Seirogan (creosote), which is widely used in Japan in 2001.
This is the first application for disclosure based on the Freedom of Information Act.
At first, the MHLW decided not to disclose the reports, except for only a small part, but the Reviewing Committee on Information Disclosure has held that most of the reports should be disclosed.
